Program: Beth & I, with the help of our guide, Cody, literally “chased down” what should be an excellent program. He really didn’t have much of a chance to say no! Shane Craig will come and speak to us. He is the District Wildlife Manager, North Poudre District, Colorado Parks and Wildlife. We are looking forward to an interesting program from The Game Warden on the north side of the Poudre! I’m sure he will get plenty of questions from our inquisitive group!
We had a great day on the Poudre with the gals from Denver on the 21st for the first CWF trip of the season. It was a good turnout and we are so proud of all our “newbies” who showed up! Many of them took the 1/2 day class and a few of them even caught fish (or nearly so!). One real treat: The Weather Gods were really smiling on us that day and it made for a great turnout at lunchtime with everyone bringing a sunny disposition along with their lunch. All in all a real success – hats off to Fran Sturgis for organizing the day.
