Trip Details:

HOORAY! Spring will soon be here. Mark your calendars and join us on May 15th for the fun filled St Vrain St Park Spring Fling/Meet New Members Outing as we celebrate spring, catch a few fish, connect with one another and welcome our new members.

The day at St Vrain will start off with fishing where we will meet on the north side of Sandpiper pond in the morning. You can either fish from the shore (waders are not needed) or use a belly boat/float tube on the water. At noon there will be an outdoor, socially distanced, bring your own food, lunch with CWF members where we will meet and welcome new members. At lunch there will be a “gear-age” sale where CWF members sell fishing items they no longer use. It is a great opportunity to pick up that fishing item you need or “just have to have” at a great price. There will also be raffles and some giveaways.

ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS: We hope you can attend the Spring Fling where we can meet you, get to know each other and maybe even catch a fish together.

ATTENTION NEW ANGLERS: St Vrain St Park provides a great opportunity to get some fishing practice on the water on a stocked pond. To help new anglers get started for the day some of CWF’s experienced anglers will be available from 9-10am to help you get rigged and started fishing on the pond. If you would like some help, please let us know, we are glad to help, we just need to know you would like some help. We are available to help throughout the day. There will also be fishing buddy signups as we get closer to the event.

us know you are attending, if you can’t make it, you can easily take yourself off the list.
• There is a cost to enter the park: if you have a Colorado State Park Pass, entry is free, if
not; a day pass is $9 per vehicle.
• You don’t need to fish to attend, come join us for lunch and fun activities.
• Those who want to sell items at the “Gear-age” Sale: you can set up your items at
campsite #8 Pelican route any time before noon as there will be someone there to help
with set up and watch over the items if you would like to fish in the morning.
• More details about the event will be on CWF Talk and the Trips and Events Calendar on
the web site as we get closer to the event.
