    • New Members Trip! This means that all club members are encouraged to attend the day or the weekend in order to get to know and fish with our new members! New members, if you haven’t attended any trips yet, this is a great way for you to see how trips work and meet new fishy friends :).
    • Great access for beginners.
    • Belly Boats, paddle boards, electric motors all okay. No rentals. Life jackets required. Swimming is aloud. Bring your lake toys! Lifevests are required on the lake.
    • Day Use Pricing:
Adults (includes children over 13) $10/person
Children 6-12 years old $5/person
Children under 5 Free
Vehicle Parking $5/day

    • OPTIONAL BBQ and Campfire 6:30pm, Saturday night:  If you are interested in a BBQ on Saturday night, please reply-all to the trip email/post thread so I can plan on it. I’ll have a BBQ grill set up at my site (16g) and am offering to grill burgers and dogs w/condiments for whoever is interested. Please let me know! BYO something to grill if you don’t want burgers and dogs. Please bring along a side dish to share (anything simple is fine, chips, etc) but let us all know on the trip thread what you will plan to bring if possible. Campfire to commence at any time :). Join us for either or both!  Please heed the parking instructions at Wellington.
    • I’ll bring some extra rods and our Tenkara rods for anyone who wants to try. We’ll need some help getting them rigged.

Meet Location: Robin’s site TBD

Meet Time: 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11 2019

Map/Directions: Directions from Denver (1 hour): Head west from the junction of US Hwy 285 and CO-470 W and continue 27.5 miles to Bailey. Just before Bailey, turn left onto CO Road 68/Wellington Lake Road (exit for McGraw Memorial Park). Stay on CO Road 68/Wellington Lake Road for 10.9 miles.  CO Road 68 will become CO Road 105. Turn right onto Stoney Pass Road (junction of CO Road 105 and S Buffalo Creek Road (Forest Service Road 543)). The lake will be on your left.

Fly Shops: Maybe these nearby shops can advise on flies for the area as well.

    • Sandy Wright has coordinated a group site (16g) that is now full. Sounds like a few folks are starting to double up into other sites as well.
    • Many sites allow up to 6 people and 2 vehicles so doubling up is a great way save $$. Call 303-838-5496 with questions or book online.
    • Prefer not to camp? Accommodations in Bailey:
    • Bailey Lodge, 57920 US Highway 285, Bailey, CO · (303) 838-2450
